"We came upon this studio a few years ago when the studio we were at closed due to COVID. We didn’t know at the time that it was a blessing in disguise. Our daughter has flourished as a dancer and as a person. She is learning so much about dance, being respectful, inclusive and helpful. She sees so many older dancers who work so hard and are so giving with their time. It’s an amazing lesson that we are grateful she gets to experience. The teachers have really made an effort to know her and allow her personality to shine. They were also very patient with this inexperienced dance mom, and have continued to be as we navigate the world of competitive dance. We are so blessed to be a part of this studio. Not only has our daughter received excellent instruction from the amazing staff who truly care about all of their students (know everyone’s name, celebrate birthdays, personal achievements/goals, etc.), we have all made wonderful friendships with the students, parents, and staff who have become family. We absolutely love White Bear Dance Center because of the welcoming, inclusive, family-friendly culture the owners have created and work hard to maintain. Sadly, we know that not every dance studio is this way and feel extremely lucky to be able to say that about ours!
