"Our 2 sons were invited to a birthday party at The Academy. Our oldest had done some karate classes at the Y before Covid so we knew a little. Our boys begged to try a few classes, so we decided why not try this. A year later it has changed so much for our 8 year old. We have noticed increased confidence, focus, and responsibility in both our sons. They are making so many new and positive friendships. They look up to the black belts and enjoy participating in the community programming that The Academy does. Our boys are not only learning life skills for themselves, they are learning about giving back and being a part of something that does good for everyone."
