"After reserving a moving truck to be picked up in Winona MN, I received a text message letting me know that they didn’t have a truck I need and the the only truck they had had a dead battery, so I was told to pick up the moving truck in LaCrescent, WI where the dealer had not approved the truck so we were then instructed to go to LaCrosse where we could finally get the truck we needed. Though this caused extra travel, U-HAUL’s customer service was great and compensated us for mileage plus hassle. They truly made the best out of the situation at hand. The flaws in reserving had nothing to do with the company itself and we are grateful for their help, understanding and compensation. Thank you, U-HAUL."

"I’ve used U-Haul a few times and each time is basically the same. The staff there seem to be working hard for the most part but I don’t think I’ve ever been there and not waited in line for upwards of an hour each time. They seem severely understaffed. You can tell that everyone (staff and customers) are all grumpy and upset because there’s not enough help and everything is really disorganized."

"From the moment I pulled up the guy manning the check in was rude. He didn’t know how to do something (which is fine), but then the manager (?) came out and said we were at the “wrong location” (we weren’t). I imagine that it was because it was about fifteen minutes to closing. I said she was being lazy, which perhaps I shouldn’t have said, but then she LOUDLY accused me of “cussing” at her. Which I did not. After spending $2700 and traveling 1200 miles, this was an extremely poor welcome to this town."

"I have used this location multiple times for truck rentals and propane refills, every single time I have been greeted by very pleasant and professional individuals. I can always bank on a nice chat while getting the truck rental or propane refill process taken care of. Special shoutout to Joseph Maynard who went above and beyond to answer my questions and make my last truck rental experience a breeze. I'm sure this location is very happy to have a fantastic employee like him."

"I could have put a no stars, but I'll give them a 1 for effort? I scheduled a hitch set up, they made the appointment, called to reschedule a week or so later. So far not bad... I dropped my car off the day before appointment and asked questions about the process/equipment. They said nothing about not even having the equipment in the building to do the install. Then they call me an hour before installation is set to begin and say "the parts weren't ordered, the manufacturer isn't even making the equipment due to the steel shortage, but they have 1 on back order for me." Cool. How none of this was noticed and relayed to me beforehand is baffling. Not impressed."
