"I was trying to handle a tax situation and I finally threw my hands up and went into a place I'd never been and wasn't referred to. Days before I was referred to an accountant that was stogy, rude, messy, condescending, hard to look at and even hung up on me when I called to follow up, I won't say names...on second thought I will, his name was Martin Brickel CPA in Northridge CA. If you ever think about using him, RUN! On the flip-side I stumbled into the office of Michael Marshall aka the Tax Rabbi. His whole staff was pleasant, easy to work with, wasn't even daunted in the least about my tax situation and said it wouldn't be a problem. The next Monday I sat with Michael who just got off a cruise the day before and he happily answered all my questions and gave me a great road map to get things back on track. Within 48 hours he had all my docs prepared and for a very reasonable price. Viola, we we're done. Michale said it was a piece of cake and couldn't understand why the other accountant had an issues, we came to the conclusions that his real issues have nothing to do with me, lol. I've also dealt with big entertainment tax firms and I have to say the Michael, Sandy and the whole team at Rapid Tax are the real deal and I will never go to another accountant again!!!!!!! They take the time and care to make you feel special, understand your situation, approach it with care and a plan, and execute quickly for a very reasonable price. DRG"
