Reviews of Ruth Lake Campground
"Nice campground and clean bathrooms ground a little rocky but super nice"
"1 of the best campgrounds on the lake, everything you need in 1, boat launch and small store. The lower numbered sites on the water are facing the wind so as a recommendation take a look at the map for camp sites before hand"
"It's bussy... Nice people at check-in, lots of activities."
"Love it ....work here get to see this beautiful place everyday"
"I drove over 12 hours in one day to get to Ruth Lake Campground from Carson, CA. It was a long but super easy drive and it was well worth the mileage. This campground is amazing. We arrived at 5:30 am, just in time for a gorgeous sunrise over the mountains and water. We went fishing right away in the calm, quiet waters. Everyone seemed to be catching fish so easily. Our campsite was right next to the lake. The feeling of waking up & walking outside of your tent to a view of the trees, lake & wildlife here is one of the greatest feelings. The bathrooms were clean, nothing fancy but very nice to have close by. They also offer 5 minute showers for $1, which was well worth it. The campgrounds are clean, spacious and very quiet. I will definitely be returning here, hopefully soon. The highlight of my trip, besides the clean lake, was the giant American Bald Eagle that showed up moments before we were leaving. Priceless."
