"This park has great river access, a large area for activities, and a children's play area. The play area is small, but very nice. The river access is not a smooth or easy walk, especially if you are carrying gear, but it is close and a nice place to put in. The large grassy area would be nice for fun and games, but it almost always looks dead and dry in patches. If you're looking for a park in Southern Humboldt, this one is good. However, there are better grassy areas at parks to the north and south. There are also easier places to put in on the river."
