J.K. Lee's Black Belt Academy - Sussex/Lake Country

"I have attended a lot of taekwondo schools, and run a number of them. When my children needed to have a structured martial arts school with other people, I was very careful with choosing JK Lee's. They have a very friendly and family-friendly environment, with great and enthusiastic instructors. They have multiple locations, but lake country in Sussex is the choice for my kids. They are taught confidence, leadership, physical control, and how to diffuse situations without using violence. They are also taught a lot of boxing, stick fighting, controlled sparring, and self-defense moves along with the normal kicking combinations for taekwondo. It is an excellent mix of multiple martial arts to supplement taekwondo taught at the school. It has many classes and options for classes during the week, you're not forced to go to just one, there are many different times and days available, which is great for a parent's hectic schedule. It also is a family, the taekwondo family that is at all of the locations is tighter and more encouraging than many churches I've been to. This is a great school, a great place for all belt levels and skill levels to learn instead of being used as a punching bag, and this is a great bang for your buck, you learn so much in so many disciplines that you definitely feel like you're getting a deal for your membership."
