"Don't work here if you want to get paid for the job. My husband and I worked for 2 days packing scissors and weren't happy with it and wanted to find a different place to work. Everyone working here seemed depressed and burned out and several people working here actively warned me about how bad it is to work for Minpack. We talked to our staffing agency and they told us Minpack didnt want to lose us, and that they could put us in a different position, and we figured we would try it out. The next day they put us back on scissor packing and said they never told the staffing agency they could move us. We decided to talk to HR about it, but she wouldn't arrive until later into the shift. We got to work and about an hour later HR came and told us if we dont want to pack scissors, then we wouldn't like anything they had for us to do there. She was very pushy and didn't even let me wait to talk to my husband, who was conveniently in the bathroom when she finally decided to talk to me. When I told her we probably wouldn't come back after that day, she told me to leave "right now", so I did, and they told our staffing agency we "walked out" on them. Then they didn't pay us for the work we had done that day, and when our staffing agency reached out to them, Minpack lied and said we hadn't done any work that day and we had just stood there. Too bad phones aren't allowed, or maybe I would have been able to have photographic proof. If you're looking for a place to work, I highly consider looking elsewhere."
