"We were referred to the Gillette Palliative Care program for my son. We were looking forward to collaborating with a team who could help us make complex decisions with his health issues. My son has some rare conditions that require a lot of extra care and can be life limiting. Gillette said they have a small team and my son is not a fit for Palliative Care based on a ridiculous list they sent me. I have been playing phone and email tag with customer service there. I sent back the list and attached the diagnoses that match the criteria. I have asked for a conversation with someone in Palliative instead of canned platitudes from customer service. Its a shame, because Complex Care rocks, but my son requires more support that no one seems eager to give."
