"Traveled from O'Hare to Madison. Arrived at last stop, only one of our three suitcases was on the bus. Driver had unloaded them at the wrong stop and drove off, even after another passenger called them to his attention. Then he lied about it, told me someone must have stolen them, that he's not liable, that I should call corporate. He also claimed he unloaded the bags at their designated stops, which makes no sense because we got one bag but not the other two, and I had watched him load them onto the bus atop one another with my own eyes. Bags were sitting out in the open at the previous stop. Spent an hour driving around the city and only luckily recovered my luggage. He was rude and couldn't care less, almost as if he lost them on purpose because he knew he wasn't liable for them."

"Before the pandemic van galder was tolerable but not great. Since resuming “regular” service everything about this bus is terrible. They no longer have express buses to the airport, all buses stop at every stop or wait around at a stop so it is a guaranteed 3.5 hours to ohare. It is so frustrating they don’t just provide smaller shuttle vans to the airport from madison to improve their service. Their website is stuck in the 20th century and it so annoying to use. If there was another service I’d definitely take it. Looking forward to leaving madison and never taking van galder again."

"I have traveled 3 times with this line and 2 times I had a terrible experience with the drivers. They were extremely rude, arrogant, raised their voices and intimidated me, and they also abruptly threw my luggage away. My perception is that they are extremely inconsiderate, non-inclusive and racist. I saw how he treated many people badly but he was very friendly only with white Americans. I don't understand why if you don't like dealing with people, you work in services that require customer service, this bus line should seriously train its staff and PROVIDE QUALITY."

"Overall good experience, you may run into a bad mood driver every now and then, just ignore them and they'll get off their high horse (happened a few days ago). Note: if you are coming back from O'Hare, go straight to Car Rental, the bus pickup location has changed. They call it Multi Modal facility, it completely confuses everyone (horrible job to whoever planned). Anyway, you want to grab the tram all the way to the end of the stop where car rentals are, there will be signs."
