"Dr. Gordon Harvieu was by far the best doctor my son Tyler Michael Mattsfield could have ever had. We spent some time looking for the best doctor having had some bad experiences with others. My son was special needs and Dr Harvieux cared for him like Tyler was his own. Tyler with all his disabilities responded and calmed to Dr Harvieux. They say mothers know their child the best and Dr Harvieux believed this and always listened to me when I brought Tyler in. This was important because Tyler was nonverbal and it was hard for some doctors to take my ideas of what was wrong when Tyler was sick versus wanting to go ahead with their ideas. An example was when Tyler’s shunt clogged and he was in so much misery. Two ER doctors rather than listen to me when I said his shunt wasn’t working sent us home and said Tyler would be fine. Until Tyler was 19 and passed away we doctored with Dr Harvieux. I doubt Tyler would have made it that long without the excellent care from Dr Harvieux. An amazing man who really cares! Don’t ever pass up the chance to have him as your child’s doctor. They don’t come any finer than this man! I wish more were like him."
