"Would not recommend coming here... *Strike 1:* My mom had filed her taxes with them back in 2017 or 2018. Everything was fine until we got a letter from the IRS saying we owed a penalty fee for not reporting our income. Confused, we went to the accountant at Rowland Heights Tax Services to figure it out. It turns out the accountant forgot to put in the W-2. I repeat: she forgot to put in the INCOME for the INCOME tax return. What in the world. She said she would pay the late penalty but never did. My mom was nice about it, said the accountant was already an older lady and so we should just eat the cost. *Positive event:* 2020, I decided to give them another shot for my tax returns because I was having a really stressful year in graduate school, and they were affordable. I made sure to get a different accountant at Rowland Heights Tax Services. He filed my tax returns without an issues and I was happy. *Strike 2:* March 2021, I decided to ask the same accountant as the previous year to file my taxes and my husband's taxes. He agreed. I sent all my files to him by March. He had various health issues which was really unfortunate — I wish he had told us that he couldn't do it, because then we could have just done it ourselves. But he was MIA and then in June, he responded saying he filed an extension for us. Then he went MIA again—didn't respond to texts or calls—until he told us in October that he finished filing the taxes. *Strike 3:* Fast forward to APRIL 2023, my husband and I find it strange that our 2021 return still hasn't arrived. We check the IRS website to see if it's been processed yet. There's nothing on the page—literally no record of a filing for 2021. Currently our 2021 tax return is still missing and the accountant re-filing. I don't know if Rowland Heights Tax Services will pay our late penalty fee now."
