"So THIS is how people are treated by this Bryan Taylor Assoc.: DISCRIMINATION is not cool! Please read... Some of you may know I have been house hunting in HB which has been great until l encountered this property. I answered the ad asking to schedule a time for my girlfriend and I to come see it because we would like to rent it for our family of 4. I received a call from Realtor Brian Taylor this past Saturday telling me the house was available to view this weekend, He asked me about my credit and what my profession was. I told him my girlfriend and I have good credit and great jobs. I proceeded to tell him I was employed with His House New Creation/Foundation helping people with substance abuse and addiction. He cut me off right away and said "we won't have that" and was in a hurry to hang up. I quickly told him our credit scores were near the 800 mark just to see what he would say, he then said rudely "well then you can come by and see the place". Needless to say I didn't waist my time seeing the property or this narrow minded individual. Being discriminated against is a horrible thing and should be exposed every time it happens. I am very proud of what I do and the industry I am in. This is unfortunate reminder that we have such a long way to go removing the stigma associated with treatment and rehabilitation. Addiction has no race, creed or color and no boundaries of age or income...it can happen to anyone."
