"If I could give less than 1 star I happily would. I ordered a playset for my children for Christmas. Emailed countless times to schedule a delivery. They only gave me notice of delivery the day of. Then did not deliver it that day. I emailed them to ensure they would not try again the next day, as we were going out of town for a week. They agreed. Only to deliver it the next day while we were on a flight. Had to contact Backyard Discovery to have them schedule for it to be picked back up. I then reached out again to schedule delivery for 12/20. It was confirmed by the company. Today, 12/13, I again receive notification it was delivered. I called and spoke to customer service who told me my only options were to accept it or have it picked back up to then have delivery after Christmas. I was told "they could never hold it for a month and the storage fees weren't approved". Absolute lack of accountability for their lack of logistics and protocols to organize and communicate deliveries to their customers. They care about their schedule and their schedule alone. I see other reviews that they do a lot of playset deliveries. I hope these companies stop using Valley Companies for their deliveries as I am sure they are ruining countless surprises for children everywhere."

"Can honestly say that Valley Companies was the best company I ever worked for! Went from working the dock on nights to them helping me get my CDL and started peddling freight and giving me the opportunities to do so. I have a ton of great memories with the company and family feel was great! Once again best job I've had and helped me get to where I am now!"

"They delivered a playset I ordered from Lowes. It took them a month to deliver it. The tracking they provided was also not accurate. The tracking site also said they would call 24 hours before delivery, but they never contacted me at all. Even though I had talked to customer service to try and get updates before delivery and have them my contact information. The estimated delicate was missed twice. When my item was finally delivered, the only way I knew is because I saw it on my security camera. No one knocked or rang the door bell. They threw the boxes off of the truck about 90 feet from my house. It was in the middle of the yard under a tree. The boxes had several holes in them. Do not use this company for anything."

"Lost my play set I was getting for my excited kids. The company doesn’t tell you that this, they use other third parties to ship and now I’m talking to someone in a foreign country week long who REALLY doesn’t know where it is. Luckily the company I bought the play set from refunded me. I told the company to find another vendor for shipper. On top of it however, the play set I ordered for my kids which was promised for Easter and birthday, is now no longer available to order anywhere. So thank you for that as well."

"We bought a play set from Overstock.com. I read these reviews after the estimated delivery date had passed & there was no update on the tracking number we were provided. I grew concerned about this shipping company, so I reached out via email for an updated delivery date & got a very quick response (within 5 minutes!). I was told it would be delivered that day (only a few days after the original estimate, and still within Overstock's quoted time frame), and it was there when I got home from work. We haven't opened it up to set up yet (so unsure if there are any broken pieces), but the boxes are in good condition!"
