"I wanted to give them 0 star but there is no option to give it. Reason being.. there is NOTHING GOOD to say about them.. they don't treat you as their customers.. they treat you as if they are doing some huge favor to you by filing your taxes and charge HEFTY AMOUNTS in doing so."

"Little to no follow through from the employees. They ignore your email and cell communication for months at a time. They truly don't seem to care about the customers at unitedtax at all. Save yourself the frustration and seek tax services elsewhere. I have never dealt with more unprofessional and uncaring staff in my life. It has been very frustrating dealing with their horrible incompetence and lack of communication. I wish I could give them zero stars."

"I have been filing taxes with United tax for more than 10 years. They were very professional and customer focused when they were a small team providing personalized service but they don’t know how to scale and keep customer focus anymore. Their customer service is probably the worst part of it. I had to call them more than 10 times to get connected only to be then forwarded to voice mail. They have some good people like Vikas and I do hope they do something about getting customer focus back."

"Very Bad Service ! They failed to File my tax to FTB 3 years in a row even after charging fees for all 3 years. Highly avoid them (I wish 0 Star is an option) Update - Rupinder from United Tax promised to reimburse for their failure to pay and since then is not responding or answering emails. Update - 06/15 - several months later no response to calls or response to email Update - 09/3 - Close to a year now and no Response and failure to respond to our request"

"I had used this Tax service for a few years - Brandon & Rupinder (when Brandon was unavailable as he works just a few days a week) ..... So far no issues. This year I could not get either of these 2 so they assigned me to Abbas - I figured since my taxes are not "complex/Complicated" - Lets give it a try .... anyways after Filing the taxes i came across a IRS ~$14 Interest payment that was missing from the original set of documents - Called the Office & they said - Lets set up an appointment after the 18th to Amend the return as it is less busy. So After 18th I tried to set up an appointment - after lots of phone Tag (extremally difficult to get hold of anyone/no one responds / returns your phone calls - Zero/minimal Follow ups) - My Original 1040 was Filed Electronically - but when I called the FTB to check on refund status - they said Tax preparer had requested Paper refund :-( Took a month to get refund instead of standard 10 day refund. Never Had this E-Filing return issue with Brandon Or Rupinder. Back to the saga of Amending my Tax return for ~$14 interest payment change - in 1040-X (1 pager document) - Per IRS/FTB this can be filed electronically - Once Again "Rose" informed me she has prepared a paper amendment - meaning I have to stand in line at USPS & Post it and wait many months to get a response!! I had specifically asked for E-return & made FOUR - Physical trips to their Office Near Safeway - As of today May 16th I have not heard back if the Amendment has been E-Filed Oh - and the best part - Rose said that would be a $50 charge This makes absolutely No sense - All along the 4 Physical visits - Nothing was brough up & after making me come to Office 4 times .... asking ridiculous amount for a 5 min Job! Just to benchmark called 2 other Tax Prep (Mowry avenue) - all of them said Amendments are free - especially when i described the ~$14 Interest change they have to add & hit the send button I agree with the previous review - service Level has gone down dramatically over the years ..... How many more physical visits to United Tax to get my 1040-X E-filed ..... ? Will keep you all posted :-("
