Reviews of Student Recreation Center
"The place used to be amazing when it had a capable managing director. I am an alumni and were happily paying for my membership since the facility is actually amazing, however the services specifically customer services are in steep decline. Now, no one actually cares about students and alumni feedback. I had a concern and emailed it to the responsible person a couple of times and never heard back"
"When a establishment of a educational institution fails to display punctuality, and quality consistency There is a lack of clear communication when there isnt a indication there is a so called "maintenance week" prior to the Fall semester of 2023 indicating that the gym should be closed. When clearly the Google & hours website states that they are "OPEN", when CLEARLY that is not the case. Even one of the SRC staff members displays a rude gesture, rather than being kind to explain the reason they are closed. I can clearly see students exiting and entering the gym regardlessly. They could've displayed the sign or at least update their inconsistent website because I can see no indications of this happening whatsoever."
"Looking to relax by the pool during the summer?! Well, look somewhere else! There’s a kids day camp with about 50+ kids who use the pool from 12:30-3pm Monday through Friday. They are loud, obnoxious, and ruin any sort of peace that comes with relaxing at the pool on a hot day. While I am here, the gym equipment and facility are very nice, but don’t expect anyone to wipe there sweat and germs off the machine after they use it, even though there’s disinfecting wipes everywhere. The app you have to use to sign in and scan to get into the gym is ridiculous. THE MUSIC THEY PLAY AT THE GYM IS AWFUL AS WELL!!! Why am I listening to slow country love songs and slow R&B while I’m working out? It’s always the same exact songs too."
"Very clean you can actually feel safe again working out in this covid era!"
