"I recently went to Urgent Care, which another local vet clinic referred me to because they were the only ones open late. I am a very cautious person when it comes to where I seek medical care for my pet because my pet is a member of the family, and I only want the best for him. Coming here was the worst decision of my life. I was attended to and directed to a room. The room has a video camera directly pointed at us in the corner. There were no signs indicating a camera; I only realized the camera was there after a while. There were no signs indicating that the camera is audio or visual recordings. A vet assistant entered the room to ask questions that had nothing to do with the issues I was discussing. She said my dog needed a procedure but was not the doctor. The doctor came and, in my opinion, did an improper physical examination. He did not communicate well when he and his assistant abruptly flipped my dog to his side, causing my dog and myself to start feeling overwhelmed by the situation. The doctor then took my dog and said he needed to check something else. The doctor seemed to get upset when I started asking questions and stating that I had never had a medical provider state what he wanted to do to my pet. After the doctor examined my pet more, he did not return him to me. Instead, he returned with two pieces of paper to support the treatment he wanted to give my dog. Again, he said the choice was yours and would await my consent. I asked for my pet back and heard another voice asking what about the diagnostics? My pet was being carried by the vet assistant, who had a suit on specifically for taking x-rays. Where did "my consent" go? If you are already preparing for that, I do not understand. I finally got my dog back and paid $140 for all of the above. This urgent care center's lack of communication and empathy impacted me so much that I decided to write this review. I hope the particular staff members I have been in contact with do better in the future because we really do need an Urgent Care in Santa Clarita that cares about our pets and family members. It is frustrating when you are not receiving that as a patient, especially when you are concerned and want your pet to get better. Again this is my personal experience. I personally would not go to this location ever again. I will say the young male at the front desk at the time we entered was respectful and welcoming, I do not recall his name but he was kind and I thank him for that."

"We had an excellent experience when we went to Santa Clarita Animal Urgent Care. Our cat vomited for a day non stop. My husband and daughter took our cat on a Friday evening and the office staff and doctor were great! They gave us options for tests, etc. and worked with us. The price was very reasonable for a vet visit and especially for after hours. It turned out our cat did not swallow anything toxic and the anti nausea medicine give stopped his vomiting immediately."

"This urgent care has been a much needed service for years. The doctor and the staff are clearly experienced and very caring. My regular vet could not fit us in and recommended Santa Clarita Urgent Care saying they had heard good things. I can verify that this is the place to come to if you have need of excellent emergency care given with kindness and respect. I am so glad to have found them."

"Special Thanks to Dr. Musa and his staff at the Animal Urgent Care tonight!! My dog got bit by a rattlesnake and I had no emergency clinics nearby so drove an hour as they said they'd see me. Very quick to take him back, kept us updated on his status, and he looked a lot better after the anti-venum and fluids. *update* 2 days later and Colt is doing way better! He had quite the swollen face yesterday and didn't want to eat. Was also limping some on the bite side. Tonight he's less swollen and wanted to eat! Thanks Again So Much!!"

"All praise to the Most High and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. On 2/20 my dog started showing signs of poisoning. Someone fed him rat poison or left it carelessly. In a couple of hours he was entering a coma. We went to two different hospitals and my bf called here and they accepted him ASAP. Dr. Musa ran tests and started plasma treatment, everything was in house and their equipment and lab results are amazing. My dog walked out of there the same day and we were given through instructions on vitamin k treatment. They’re continuing to monitor his progress but he’s doing so much better now and his old puppy self again. God bless the staff here who showed my dog true and genuine love and who saved his life! Their prices are also incredibly fair and worth it for their quick lab results and lifesaving treatment!"
