"Unfortunately, this was not very good example of customer service. I had an appointment for 10am. Waited for over 10 minutes to be asked to go to the cubicle of the person that was going to prepare my tax returns. This person had been dealing with personal matters instead of starting my tax returns on time. The tax preparer did seem to know her way around the tax system and seemed to perform a reasonably good job. What I have a problem with is the push to finish the appointment to enable the next person to be attended to. Who was waiting to be helped. I was unable to get answers to some of my questions do to being rushed. Also had interruptions during my appointment for personal business to be done on the tax preparer personal phone. At the end of the appointment, the preparer tried to upsell me on a $40 package that would have H&R Block stand behind their work for me. I declined this upsell offer. The entire cost to me for this experience cost me $349. I believe that price should have included H&R Block standing behind their work and an unrushed, uninterrupted appointment. All in all, not a pleasant experience. Rushed thru the appointment. Unable to get answers to several of my questions. I don't think I'm going to have H&R Block do my taxes next year."
