"I've never had to write a negative review in my life. The level of incompetence this office has shown me has made me resort to this. My "Tax Professional" inputted the wrong mailing address on my file when I told her numerous times that my Physical Address does not accept mail due to their being no mailboxes. She than forwarded the incorrect mailing address to the California State Tax Board which would have been fine considering my tax return was to be issued via direct deposit. She didn't even forward the correct bank/routing information. The same incompetent "Tax Professional" literally tried to negate the work of correcting this discrepancy by asking me "Do you want me to call them, or do you want me to give you their phone number?" Can you believe the laziness? She told me she would call me back which she didn't. I had to find out from the State that there was a mistake. I called them back today after being on hold with the State for 5 hours and the HR Block location manager told me she left for the day. This was literally at 1:00 PM. Lazy and incompetent staff that only has a 4-hour workday handling the most crucial of annual responsibilities. Will never utilize this garbage organization again."

"I called to schedule an appointment to file my taxes. The lady or representative was very rude telling me why I waited to file my taxes at the last minute. I told her that she had no right to ask me that and that it was none of her business. Besides 18 April is the deadline to file taxes to the IRS. I highly recommend customer service to pay attention on how these people answer the phone and treat potential customers. That was very disrespectful and she also hung up on me, and when I tried calling back they'd pick up the phone and hang up again without saying a word. This is very unprofessional and outrageous. I will never try to contact H&R Block again for anything. I was going to do my taxes with you, but no more. It's sad that this is the kind of personnel you have working out there. One star for this location."
