"Worst experience ever. Paid over $400 for taxes to be done by professionals since we had recently suffered a tragedy and did not want to do on our own. So many mistakes were made that we received our tax refund of over $11K less than we were told. Additionally they put our address as one that we lived at over 10 years ago, we did not give this address at all, no idea where they got that from. Still dealing with problems directly related to this 9 months later. Can't get our fee refunded because IRS will only send letter 1x and it went to a 10 year out of date address."

"I've been using H&R block to prepare my taxes for the last 4 years and I have been given advice that definitely helped my tax situation as I retired and didn't fully realize the changes. Medicare and Social Security are amazing and I would like to offer one piece of advice regarding applying for and collecting Social Security benefits and that is to give instructions to withhold federal taxes! If my tax advisor/preparer didn't let me know that I would have had to pay taxes on it. The first year I actually had to pay $1,000 until she let me know. Until she let me know."
