"I already have an appointment for next year. My tax pro, Ms. Romo, definitely knows her stuff. She must've been a math major in college; maybe she's even done some teaching or tutoring. She explains everything clearly and concisely, letting me know from both a tax standpoint and a mathematical one how various deductions, taxes, interest, etc. works into the tax return calculations. She understood all my questions and answered them at a level I could understand. ... update ... This is the 3rd year Ms. Romo has done my tax returns. She even remembers me from previous years. Pretty impressive considering she must do 200 to 300 of these things every year. That she can adjust and explain the differences in the returns as my tax situation changes from year-to-year just confirms to me that I will definitely be back next year."

"Arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and was treated with Betty take care of this guy. OK they greeted me with disrespect but at least the office had AC. Prior to beginning, I asked to use the restroom and when I’d returned I noticed the AC was turned off. Sweating I inquired about the price for preparing a short form and the answer back was $134.00. I inquired about why so much your advertisement stated $64 answer back Oh, that’s just for the Federal. Ok, I inquired can I claim rental for my apartment? Answer: NO. OK, how about the California Senior $200 claim? Answer: NO, we don’t know anything about this claim. OK, what about the $400 for every Californians filing their income tax. Answer: NO, we don’t know anything about this California tax claim. See I don’t mind sharing my returns for good service rendered, but there at their H & R location they’re not even trying, AC turned off and disrespected with choice of words “take care of this guy” and no knowledge of the California returns, thanks but that type of convolutions I can do without."

My favorite one was the time I set an appointment for 6pm on a work night, left work early and made arrangements with my husband to come with me to the appointment and got totally stood up. The office was closed and nobody ever came. The last time I went in, we had a really bad experience with the girl at the front. She was completely rude and unprofessional. I have never been back. The location at the quad is much better."
