If you are unconvinced, look at them on both Better Business Bureau and Yelp, which are packed with one star reviews and stories of scammy behavior. I asked them to bid on an outdoor drainage problem and indoor leak, they came out and looked at it and then charged me $149, telling me that the "main office" would give me an estimate soon. After a month, still no estimate. When I called to complain, the person on the phone (who I suspect is the owner) said "I am no one, I am not a lawyer" and hung up on me. I tried calling back and they wouldn't answer. Please also look at the reviews at the Better Business Bureau and Yelp, which are solid one stars with similar stories."

"The good reviews are so warranted! We discovered water coming up from our floors and I called around to a few places. I wouldn't go with a couple of them because of how rude they were and others couldn't come out same day. When I called Absolute, Rod was really nice, concerned about the possibility of a leak, and got one of his workers out within an hour. Reid was our technician and he's so solid; he's a very nice guy and knowledgeable. He found the issue within minutes, explained everything to me, and was able to remedy it quickly. He also gave me contacts for water restoration companies. All around great experience. We will definitely call them again for our plumbing needs."

"2023 Again, Absolute Plumbing came through with excellent service for our home in Walnut Creek. Fixed a clogged Master Bathroom shower drain, fixed the shower head full of calcium that had collected over the years and the shower handle. Found a leak in our 3rd floor toilet tank and replaced that leaky device and lastly they replaced our kitchen water faucet that needed replacing for a few years. Oleg O. came to the rescue this time. Oleg deserves a raise. He did such a great job and was so prompt and fast in checking out all 4 bathrooms. Thanks again to Absolute Plumbing (Martinez) that serves the Walnut Creek area. The owner Rod even came out to check in with me. Very nice people. And I loved the fact that I got a text with a picture of the service person (Oleg) in the text. I told Rod I thought that was very professional and impressive. They also advised me on the water pressure pump I have in my garage and let me know what to look for if it was failing. 2017 Absolute Plumbing was so amazing in responding to a critical issue at our home today. The shower handle would not turn off the water because it was stripped. So Lindsey answered the phone and she immediately engineered a schedule invite for Darwin to show up between 3-5pm. He shows up at 3:01. Nailed it. Darwin puts shoe covers on his boots, is so polite and professional it is not even funny. He evaluated the problem and had a resolution, ran to get the part and we back and completed the job in less than 45 minutes. We pretty much had to shut our water down due to not being able to turn off our shower. So this expediency was so required and we fully appreciated their concern for our convenience. Pricing was very reasonable. We never felt Darwin was in any way trying to take advantage of the situation. Darwin should get a raise AND a bonus! Great job Darwin and Absolute Plumbing!!!"

"Called them last Thur. for a new leak. Was told no charge to look for leak! Kathy said we would figure what needs to be done then email you bid to do work. I asked if they would do nitrogen testing to detect exact leak location. She said today was just to figure things out and no charge. Juan showed up and saw outside hose bid had been left on and two toilets have slow leak fill valves. He quote my ill wife $285 to fix them and my wife declined and said my husband can handle that. Now the scam begins!! Juan says if like I can look under house in crawl space and my wife said no thanks as you already found problems. He pushed and pushed and finally she relented. He looked around for 9 minutes no leak. They bill my wife $443 for looking. Not a single repair was ever done. Call them back and Rod the owner said like a bad used car dealer- no charge to come out but there is a "Diagnostic fee" to look around. Total dishonest dirtbag who was extremely rude on the phone. Stay away!!!!"

"Reid, and Alex arrived and after a brief explanation from me about the problem, they gathered their drain clearing gear and went right to work. They located the problem blockage, and they had it completely cleared, and the water flowing freely within their Service Call hour. Which saved my boss lots of money. They were very friendly, and they demonstrated to me that they understood the plumbing issues involved, I and that they were fully capable of correcting the problem. Absolute Plumbing and Drain is very Highly Recommended, and are more than deserving of the '5 Star Rating' that I'm very happy to leave here for them. I would have absolutely no hesitations at all to employ them again, and I definitely will be looking to use their professional plumbing services (if necessary) in the future."
