"Fri. 6-10-22 approx. 3p. Michael Judge Mobile Home Park incident as follows: 6 people entered into confrontation with one black women who was recovering from surgery. 2 LAPD officers responding to a call of unlawful entry (unsupported, factious). Manager/Assistant manager stationed outside in vehicle looking on, not willing to speak face to face with officers and confronted tenant. In addition to 2 other women who suggested the black women entered the home waited outside also. The disturbance was over within 30 mins., and when the harassed black women gave the explanation, the LAPD willing accepted the situation as unimportant and it subsided. My question to you Mr. Judge: By what authority does the Management of PVRMHP feel entitled to use our public police force (LAPD) to satisfy their inner needs to control and hurt others? The black women (tenant) pleaded with manager to stop! She was distraught. She explained she was recovering from surgery (The manager would not leave he vehicle) and tenant was so visibly upset the female officer had to console her. LAPD announced, "According to our understanding this is NOT a police matter (and left)" I listened and observed during this time. Easily I understood the woman was bullied by manager/assistant manager, and these wanted LAPD to do the same; but Police would not. Summary: Managers demonstrated they have no respect for our community and the effect their actions have upon us. Phone calls, personal communication, obtaining facts, and waiting would have solved the misunderstanding. Instead a woman of color was facing off with 6 people alone when I arrived (2 police, 2 managers, 2 tenants)."
