"I think I will do the taxes myself. I went to H&R due to investments in stocks...wasn't quite sure I could do them myself. But I don't plan on investing this year so I'll go back to doing them myself. $400 is quite a lot of money for what appears to be pretty straightforward tax forms. Will see...might change my mind next year. H&R started out being only several hundred dollars and that seemed reasonable.BUT it has risen steadily with little change in the information used."

"Made an in person appt at 10 am Fri. We show up and were told no in person. Had to Fill out for drop off info. Then told they us they will hopefully get to it. I made an appt. Weither I could stay of not my taxes should of been prepared in my appt time and called when finished. There's no reason to make an appt. Still waiting for a call they are finished. I definitely would of used someone else if I knew ahead of time."
