"I remember when this park and L.A. mission college was a cow pasture with tree stumps back in 1974 when I was in high school at sylmar high . Boy a lot has changed ! I was in Sylmar a couple of years ago for a funeral and went down foothill Blvd and did not recognize the town much has changed since 1981 when I moved out ."

"The lifeguards for the Parks after Dark Summer program were really cool. Staying open Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays from 6pm-10pm was great. My kids had a blast in the pool. My kids can't wait til next summer. Thank You for a great summer."

"Very disappointed with the park I went to the park yesterday in the evening which was Sunday and there was lots of people at least 100 people at the park in the and playing I counted at least 60 people at the basketball court outside and all the bathrooms were locked and closed nobody could use the bathroom even in the main building there was a kid going to the bathroom on the wall I spoke to several senior citizens they could not use the bathrooms that we're in the park and I thought the Park is open until 10 p.m. I feel I should take this to the media news and let them know how people can not use the bathroom I understand in the winter you can't but this is summer time. And the playground in the Middle where all the kids play where dirty was ice cream wrappers all over the place and trash.at10:30am Monday"
