Reviews of El Pescador State Beach
"Great place to go and chill out. There aren’t many crowds here and it’s much more relaxed than most beaches in LA county- work the trek."
"It's extremely tough to find parking and gotta walk far to arrive at the beach. It's small and not as pretty as other spots close by, but decent to chill, relax and enjoy the views."
"This beach is not really crowded. There are many people but you have enough space for privacy. However I did go in the afternoon time during a weekday. I came here to read a book on my birthday last year. You do need to pay for parking I think it was around $3-7. Very peaceful. Getting here there is curves you need to turn on so be careful if you get car sick easily."
"Had a great time here. Easy parking. A little high, but no time limit for 20 bucks. Had public bathrooms. Nice sandy beaches. Good place to bring the kids. Free parking Along rt. 1, but must need to get there early to find a spot."
"One of my favorite "off the beaten path" beaches. Never too crowded, always pleasant vibes. Be sure to be ready for the stairs down and back up; it is not a beach you want to transport a lot of gear to. FYI: There is only a port-a-potty, and it is back in the parking lot. Please remove all your trash!"
