"If I could give negative five stars, I would. I regret coming to this place and I am glad I walked out of there before it was too late because not only they try to rip you off but don't even know how to do their job. Every year I do my taxes myself. This year I have a lot on my plate so I figured I will have it done for me. I called them in advance, explained what documents I have, and the lady on the phone said it would be a simple return so with a coupon it will cost me $70. I thought that was a good price so I go there for my appointment. The lady who is supposed to help me looks more confused than I do when I do my taxes myself! It takes her one hour to do a single W2 return (plus one dividend statement) and two student loan interest statements. The whole time she looks unsure, has to go to her boss to double check things and get help, and I have to sit there correcting her typos. In the end after she's supposedly done, she tells me that my fee comes to $180+!! I told her that's not what I was told on the phone. I understand there are different return forms but trying to charge me more than twice what I was told was not acceptable. So I walk out of that place and later realized that I made the best decision. The lady had miscalculated the student loan interest I had paid by more $900. It was just two simple numbers adding up to about $100!!! That meant that once I got a refund of more than $1000, the IRS would come after me for lying about how much I paid in student loan interests. SOOO glad I decided to walk out and will NEVER go back to this place."
