"Very frustrating. Was an easy experience to at least TRY to get the ITIN. But then it came back/was denied for an unknown reason, and there's no way to get back in touch with the office since it's now closed until next tax season. No way to get back in touch with Frances. Not her fault, per se...but H&R Block's system is TERRIBLE. Horrible organization. Get passed around between customer service reps that don't know what they're doing. Finally get to a "main office" on Capital Rd., and they tell me they'll call back. They call, but the person calling me has no idea what an ITIN is or how to help...of course, I had said the reason for the call when setting it up. So someone who knows what they're doing would be good to call back. Anyway, then someone said they'd call 4-7 PM. I waited, no call. Tried again, no call the next day. I called back to set up a third appointment, still no call at the appointment time. Like...what do you have to do to get service/help around here? Does anyone keep an appointment? And they have no way to connect me to the accountant that helped us previously still? That would be the easiest, but nope. No one has a clue. Such a waste of time. We thought H&R would be good for something simple. But we'll stick with a real firm next time. People get sucked into this, and it's honestly sad. Their prices aren't even that good for filings...just get a real accountant and stick to it. Last time I'll be burned by this."
