"Came here last year to get taxes done and was filing for more than one year. Was assigned to Marietta Alva and the experience was not great. Ive never filed with H&R Block before and will probably never use it again. Customer service was lackluster, but I can understand it’s the not the most exciting place to be. The reason for the one star is because the tax advisor had someone else come for their appointment and wasn’t quite done with me yet. I reassured her that it’s okay and I was willing to wait to get it done since I actually set a whole day aside to do so. I even offered to maybe do the rest over the phone or set up another appointment for the second one regardless if it cost me more. Marietta ended up getting overwhelmed and finished the one year and proceeded to tell me that I could file it on my own and how easy it is. I know that I can file the taxes on my own, but the whole point of your services is for me to pay for the convenience of your tax ‘experts’. I paid this place almost $200 to give minimal effort and tell me that I could do it on my own. Anyways, tax season is here again and I’m still mad about it. Just go somewhere else."

"Run far way from this h&r block. I literally had to contact the tax preparer more then 3 times as my taxes were never submitted. Jose Alvarez is horrible never contacted me to inform me or even communicate that, I had to do my own research to find out why the taxes were not showing on my account. He still has not reached out to apologize or even give an explanation as to what happened. Thee worst H&R Block experience!"

"H and R block is the worst place to do taxes ever. They just throw me around like a potato, because they can't help me fix the California Ereject error using their software. I went to them THREE-FOUR times, transferred me to different people and THEY STILL HAVEN'T GOT MY CALIFORNIA RETURN FILED! WHY ARE YOU PUTTING ME THROUGH THIS STRESS! I'M NEVER FILING WITH THEM AGAIN!"
