"Love going to my grandmothers house.! It's the best view and love to enjoy the scenery. This was Xmas dinner from above Shaws Cove."
"Beautiful beach! The water is clear and the waves weren’t too rough. There aren’t any bathrooms which is unfortunate, although the steps down to the beach smell like it since you pass a sewage pump building. It’s a bit too busy to be considered a hidden gem, but it wasn’t overly crowded. Exploring all the rocks and tide pools was really cool, there’s plenty of marine life to be found if you look close enough. Free parking is available on the street in the neighborhood near the stairs."
"Like all the beaches in Laguna, Shaws Cove is beautiful. A short walk down concrete stairs takes you to the bottom of the cliffs where the vista opens up to the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. There are plenty of spots to set up your beach umbrellas and chairs, although I don't recommend bringing pop-up shade structures as I witnessed a lifeguard asking some people to take theirs down. I took away a star on my rating because there is no public restroom nearby."
"A gorgeous small cove! A perfect place for a little kids and older people as the waves are manageable. Tide pools with lots of life if you're lucky enough to see some. The water is a beautiful clear emerald green and aqua blue, there are steps down to the beach, parking is kind of hard but if you can find a spot it’s worth it!"
"Review for May 2021. Shaw's cove located in Laguna Beach california. It was somewhat of a cloudy day but the weather was decent. I did get a chance to go in the water however it was kind of cold. I to say that I absolutely love this quiet beach. This beach is known for snorkeling and there is a lot of marine life to see and enjoy. Definitely recommend this spot for any adventure seekers and Beach lovers. However if you can plan a day come on a sunny day which would most likely be a little bit more enjoyable."
