"Extremely unprofessional service department. I called in for a recall on my vehicle. Service center rep was extremely dismissive and even recommend I wait on coming in, even though the current recall on my car is extremely dangerous. After I explained to her that I don't care about how long/extensive a process it might be, she became combativeand hung up on me. This dealership/service center has been nothing but trouble. Avoid this place at all costs."
"Service department needs serious attention. I took my 23 Forte in to be checked, since I ran something over something in the road, and it drives differently than before. I have also had a slow leak in one of my tires, so i told them to look at that also "i said it was the driver rear, but it was the passenger rear, but also told them that it the tire with low pressure (27psi when all other tires are 38psi) When i get the car back i was told that they looked underneath the car and everything looked good, just tiny cosmetic damage and no nails or anything in ANY tires....I call again the next day as i had low tire pressure (25psi) notification (which they didn't even add air to when i brought it in) and low washer fluid sign that was still present when I started the car. I understand that I didn't bring it in for low washer fluid, but if they actually performed a multipoint inspection on the car (which is on my paperwork) I would expect them to at least notify me of the low fluid...and add air to all the tires if needed. When I took the car back 2 days after i picked my car up, they informed me that I had 2 nails in my tire and of course i would have to replace the tire... I am not sure how 2 nails were magically found in the same tire that already had a slow leak, when no nails or anything were reported 2 days ago, but i chalk it up to one of the mechanically mysteries of the dealership service department. They gave me a free car wash the second time around (something that I thought they would do no matter what) but it didn't even get the dirt from the hood of the car, so I'm not sure it was even worth saying "yes" to the car wash. My car was also driven for "3 miles" and nothing felt different about that car, but after not checking the air pressure, not checking the washer fluid, and being lied to about checking the tires, I do not trust that they checked anything on this car, and will not be bringing back for any kind of "service""
"Worst service ever (not customer service) SERVICE DEPT. 2022 KIA K5 GT-Line w/ 18k miles bad Rotors, starting with the problem since the 7k miles. KIA of Garden Grove wants to fix the rotors and pads (not needing pads) for $750. Bring the car at 9:10 am for 9:30am appointment (oil change and steering wheel shaking when braking). Gave me the car at 5:30pm with no issue resolved. Also suggested to leave the car overnight, when I asked the advisor for a rental stated “we don’t carry rentals at this location”. KIA of GG Service Dept, 2nd time been there and last. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!"
"I wish I could leave zero stars! Worst dealer ever when it comes to service. Beware of this place. Stay away and don't ever schedule maintenance here. Service department doesn't do anything to your car. It probably just sits there for 3 hours. This was prior to Covid too. I had been taking my car there since I purchased it since 2016. I never realized this dealer probably never changed my oil! For all I know they did anything to my car. I have photos and proof nothing was done. I was told they most likely just topped my oil but didn't drain out the old oil. My car engine started to break down and when I called they told me to bring it back so they can figure out what happened. No way I was going to take my car back. I don't trust these people. They didn't take ownership and the service manager was rude about it. They said I had to pay for another oil change and bring it back every 2 months. This is a greedy business and only want to steal people's money. So sad and pathetic!"
"I am in shock. I called to get a quote to replace a fuel door. They wanted to charge me $65 for the part, $130 to paint it, and $95 for the labor. That is a total of nearly $300 to replace a fuel door?! That is unbelievable. As a consumer, I was able to place an order for the same part for $45 directly from the manufacturer. They are marking up the price by nearly 50% so if they are overcharging me for the part, I know they are overcharging me for the labor. I will have to shop around for a better rate elsewhere."
