"Such a beautiful hike!"
"Haven't been here for a few years this time the creek has a lot of water forming small waterfalls and a nice to visit again"
"Views are amazing; very little shade; the hike can get really sketchy very quickly if you go on an “unofficial” trail."
"A great park and hiking area with some amazing trails up the canyon which follows a creek in the canyon. Even in early September there was plenty of water flowing and a few small waterfalls and sights to see. The scenery is awesome and I highly recommend this park and trail if in or near Santa Barbara and want to go hiking. The trail isn't to difficult but will get more challenging at the end of the canyon as the trail ascends the mountains. Highly recommend."
"My favorite starting point to hike. 2.3miles(one way) from trailhead to Gibraltar road and one EXCELLENT view! Starts following a stream in the canyon and rises out into the mtns. Terrain is single track, varied surface with fairly constant gradient. Motsly shade. Can use connecting trails to get to Tunnel trail and East Camino Cielo road (6miles one way). Large Cats are in this area (have seen a few over the years - no issues), take proper precautions."
