"I have used Michael and his team for several projects on several boats. I have found them to be both professional and courteous. They traveled to come and get the boats all squared away. Their prices are very fair. In the Marina del Rey area, they are without a doubt the best team for any job. I do not normally write reviews, but I have noticed that it is much easier for someone to write something nasty then a review in praise. I have been sailing since 1976 and racing offshore since 1981. I highly recommend these guys."

"Sad companies exist like this! Service was adequate but generally unprofessional and quotes were far below the billed cost in the end. If asked to explain, you will get rude, dismissive and nervous responses. Don’t throw your money away! Lots of good mechanics and better service out there at half the cost."

They were here yesterday to replace my throttles at the helm, and have done plumbing work on a few occasions. Mike, Sheldon, and Jason have not let me down yet - highly recommend!! "The owner of this company Mike is initially a really good talker, but after the job is allegedly complete, and after he has your money and you discover that their is a problem with the job not being done correctly, Mike becomes unavailable and unresponsive. It took me over a year just to get him to return my call and for him to send his tech, Jason, to come out and look at the unsatisfactory job, of which they took no responsibility and placed the blame on me for something I did not do that they allegedly recommend, however their is no supporting documentation to support their claim. Consequently, they never fixed the problem or did they even follow up and this is after calling Mike numerous times and when he finally returned my calls after I demanded he call me back he called back not with an apology but with an attitude. Its really sad when business owners have very patient paying customers who they do not appreciate. I would not recommend this company unless you want a headache and a bunch of excuses."

"Horrible experience with both Mike and Sheldon from Coast to Coast Diesel Marine. The biggest problem with this company is that they believe they know what they are doing, when in fact they do NOT and only experiment by replacing expensive parts and charging for labor at the expense of unknowing customers. A customer should trust that the company whose service they are paying for, can properly diagnose a problem, making the repair as quickly and affordable as possible. Sheldon and his crew were out to the yacht 5 times trying to diagnose a fuel system issue, continually replacing parts and charging for labor without EVER diagnosing the correct fuel system issue. I finally gave up and hired a reputable company who was able to properly diagnose the problem within 3 hours and less than $100 in parts. Both Mike and Sheldon have been extremely arrogant and rude when I let them know the problem was quickly fixed by another company and failed to admit they could not find the simple issues that my yacht was having. I would strongly suggest to find any other company to trust to perform any repairs on your expensive yacht. Coast to Coast Marine has been a horrendous and extremely expensive to work with and to have Sheldon tell you to F-off and hang up on you when confronted with facts, shows the poor character and judgement these people have when dealing with great paying customers. If you look online you will also see other reviews sharing my same frustration and view. They also have the Better Business Bureau looking into their practices and complaints with them. I will also be filing an action with the BBB and any other on-line portals which will save people from spending thousands of dollars in unnecessary parts and labor. STAY AWAY!!!"
