Reviews of Rangel's Sewing Machine Repair and Shop
"My serger wasn’t catching for some reason and I had a broken lower looper. Fixed my machine at a fair price. Shops a little cramped but other than that no complaints from me"
"I visited this shop this afternoon with my jammed up Singer Heavy Duty Sewing Machine. I've been sewing fleece balaclavas, hats and neck warmers for my sister's church. The ladies are making things that are being given out in the homeless encampments. Anyway, my machine wouldn't work. I'm retired and disabled so it was a big deal to take the machine to the repair shop. Junior Rangel showed me the problem. I was threading the machine WRONG!!! He showed me how to do it correctly and did several sample runs. The machine works fine! Junior was so kind and helpful. He didn't charge me anything. I may take my new, never out of the box, serger and pay him to teach me how to use it!!! Junior, I'll call you first and make an appointment. Thanks again so much!"
"Junior has (unknowingly) recruited me as a spokesperson for his establishment. His warm and helpful disposition made me glad he was one of the first on my chore list for the day. The service was handled seamlessly. From the time I called to confirm if they were open; him taking the machine so I didn't have to carry; him watching outside to make sure I parked close by; writing the machine's serial number to ensure proper return; repairing within 2 hours, and showing me what my machine could actually do! He quoted a price and held to it upon pickup -- and no add ons! He cleaned the carry case and advised things that would enhance its operation-- a minicourse of tensions, needle size for different fabrics, proper bobbin (plastic vs. metal), and when to oil the bobbin spool. I wish I could have this level of service everywhere, but I am grateful I met Junior! Blessings be multiplied to you Mr. Junior!"
"The young male who helped me stood about five nine and had black hair. He was very polite and knowledgeable about sewing machines. The first day I dropped off my machine he let me know the work would take no longer than one or two days turn around. Based on the problem, he let me know possible issues. It turned there was nothing wrong with the machine besides needing a tune up; the motor was dry. The cost was low. He cleaned my case, which I should have done myself before brought it, but as part of the service, for free. The work comes with a one month warranty. He carried the machine to my car for me; the machine is extremely heavy. I now have a sewing machine guy? Hooray!"
"I received an old sewing machine from my grandmother when I took up the interest. She mostly crochets now, so it hadn't been used in several years and when I tried to use it, it kept jamming on the bottom. Thankfully this was the store closest to me and the man who helped me was very friendly and explained everything well. The price was very affordable and I received my machine back the next morning fully working. Before I left the store he let me test it out and thought I don't know much about the machine yet, he explained the problem and the solution he used and everything else that had been done to return Richard (my Richard Machine) to his shining glory. I will definitely return here for future maintanance, and even my grandmother said she might bring her own machine for servicing as well."
