"I had AF services come to my home last week and I have to say Thank You So Much!!!!! My washer completely died on me and as a mom with two kids I have to wash a lot and I could not keep going to the laundromat. I came across AF services via Google and they were able to schedule me and see me the next day luckily! The girl who answered the phone (Rose) was very friendly and helpful and answered all of my questions the best she could, even about the company like how many people they help daily (about 150). My technician was Mike they call him the "Master Tech" and I can definitely see why. He came to my house looked and my washer and told me it needed a part and he would order it. He was back a week later and my washer is working great thank you so much AF services I highly recommend this company on contrary to the other reviews on here I think based on the amount of people they see daily these negative reviews are like a drop in a bucket."
"They gave me a 4 hour window and promised a call 30 min before the technical would arrive. 4 hours later no call no repair man! I rescheduled for today, another 4 hour window (12-4), I called at 3:45 asking where the repair man was, I was told he was finished another job. This is a scam, not only do they NOT honor their repair times, they don't have the decency to call and when you try to complain, they don't care.. They also go by AF Services and probably a lot of other names"
"WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH!! The customer service is horrible, they diagnosed my air conditioner and were not able to fix instead brought up an excuse of someone tampering with the unit without releasing any proof or explanation. They reported the false information to the warranty company. I could never reach the supervisor or the manager of the company nore they hold them responsible for anything. Not only they didn't fix my unit but worse than that they will lie about the issue to take the responsibility to other companies. Stay away..."
"I wish I looked up this company before having them come. There's a reason for all these 1 star reviews! The warranty- Total Protect which from my understanding is under Sears Warranty gave me their phone number so I made the appointment. Short review: 1, this company never picks up the phone 2, they never call back 3, you are not able to leave a voicemail so you have to just keep calling 4, if you are lucky they pick up but the woman puts you on hold way too many times 5, unorganized and didn't show up when they were suppose to 6, they never sent a report back to the warranty and they let me believe that a part is being ordered so I waited more than a week for nothing 7, the woman on the phone can't give you any info on the report of what the technician found when checking the ac 8, she kept cutting me off while talking and putting me on hold every 5 seconds, literally every 5 seconds. Nothing got solved, my ac isn't working after 2.5 weeks. I would never ever hire this company again. Long review: First off - they don't pick up the phone. After few times calling them (their voicemail is full or something so you can't leave a voicemail) ,they eventually picked up and put me on hold for like 15 minutes. I gave them all the info and then again I was put on hold for another 10 minutes. I finally got an appointment which was suppose to be 2-6pm but they called the day of service at 9:30am and said that the technician is on the way and will be there in 20 minutes. We scrambled to put our dogs away and make everything ready and accessible. I went to work and my husband stayed at home. I talked to the technician on the phone after his inspection and he said there is a corrosion and holes in the condensation tub and it needs to be replaced. After the call I was under the impression that he is going to order the part and come back to fix it. I didn't get a call from them or the warranty so I called back after a week and asked where the part is and when will they come to fix it. The person on the phone kept putting me on hold - at least 6 times and then said that this claim was closed. I called the warranty asking why it was closed and it was never communicated to me and they said they never received the report from AF Services. This went on for another few days, I was calling AF services and the warranty and got nowhere. After 2.5 weeks without airconditioning (the temperature inside of the house reached 101F every day) I finally called again and this time the warranty told me that AF service technician said that there's a rat infestation in our attic and he couldn't finish the job. He didn't even start the job, he just checked and informed me that the tub needs to be replaced and never mentioned anything about rats. I had a pest company come late last year because of few cockroaches and they checked the whole house and the attic and said there are no rats or anything else and everything is fine. I called AF services again and asked if the report is true and if she could read what the technician wrote on the report. She put me on hold 10 times and cut me off while I was talking all the time and at the end she said she isn't able to see the report. So I'm out of my deductible, need to pay for another check up from a pest company and still no airconditioning. And all of this after 2.5 weeks. Never ever I will use this company again and I already canceled Total Protect warranty since incompetent people are working there."
"Alright so long story short, cause I explained it all in my yelp review, here's the run down. I remodeled my house totally. My contractor bought my appliances through his business account with Best Buy. My fridge broke, it's been about 8 years, Best Buy couldn't do anything. My HOIP (home owners policy) sent me to this company in Woodland Hills. I searched for them online and my policy firm said to use them. At first I saw the reviews and tripped out. I was upset and called my company back and complained. They told me to call them and to calm down. I still tripped out, but they showed up the next day, fixed my fridge, I paid a small fee. Dude it was worth it. Don't know if the other reviews are real or bogus, but I had good service. I have five stars on Yelp but only four here cause I forgot, one thing I didn't like was that I had to book through my HOIP firm, but other then that all was good."
