"A real gem in Santa Barbara County. Today the path under the RR trestle was closed. Hopefully the County will reopen this soon. It wasn't closed during the larger 2023 storms! Good restrooms, free viewing telescopes and a playground out of the wind are nice touches here."

"This is an eerie quiet place to come. Feels like there should be so much more here but isn’t. It’s also what makes this place so perfect and beautiful. It is a nice place to come and write, take photos, and take in the sea breeze. I haven’t been in some time but think about it often."

"What an incredible, unique spot to explore and relax. The March 1 thru September 30th is the mating season of the Snowy Plover. It is protected, and beach access is limited. Go to Surf Beach for more of a beach, sand, and surf experience."

"Nice, cute park. No access to the beach during Western Snowy Plowers mating season (aka, all summer). BBQ grills & picnic tables for grilling together. Small park (playground) but closed for 'covid'..."

"A fantastic place to see some California's marshland wildlife and wonderful ocean views. I can great quite windy some days, jackets suggested. Not much along the lines of hiking, a cool little walkway under the train tracks. Great for family picnics at the playground area. Will Definitely be back."
