"Nice albeit narrow strip of beach, and park up on the bluff. Was pretty empty on a nice midweek day. Unfortunately, there’s not much “beach” left in north end of Shell Beach. Used to climb down to an amazing small beach somewhere here a long time ago, but erosion has not been kind. No houses either. Guess you gad to be there."

"Beautiful roadside beach for a quick stop or a day long adventure. The tide pools are bountiful for spotting crabs, anemones, coral, barnacles, beautiful shells, and lots of other small marine life. Each pool is an entire biosphere in itself. The plant and animal life within the tide pools mimics that of any other area on earth. Super cool."

"Another near perfect day enjoying sun, shade , and a game of fetch at the waters' edge. This park is about as laid back as can be; one of the lesser known places to enjoy our beautiful beaches. Wheelchair accessible paths, dog friendly (leashed is the law but well behaved dogs are allowed off without complaints). Street parking is sometimes a bit hard to come by but usually available. Beautiful grass, benches to watch whales from and a barbeque pit also available. No restrooms though. There is also a great stairway down to the beach and it's a favorite for surfing, but less so for swimming due to submerged rocks."
