"This is a beautiful beach. Somebody please change the online posting that says “dogs allowed”. Arriving at the parking lot, signs and locals made it clear that there are NO DOGS allowed. Would have saved us a trip."
"The parking is plentiful for this beach. The sand is extremely soft when going down into the beach. It's very easy to go down, and extremely hard coming back up. O walked for over an hour with not so much as a drop of sweat, coming back up .. drenched. If you intend on being here a while, bring water, sunscreen, snacks and your phones/cameras. It's a beautiful beach with miles of walking. There are treasures lying on the sand if you take your time to look. I found jellyfish and octopus, dead of course. Nice shells and beautiful views. This beach is usually alone, which is perfect for those looking for a peaceful beach outting. I wish I lived nearby to visit this place often, it's my favorite beach."
"One of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen in California! It gives me Hawaii vibes! But be prepared to hike. It’s a quarter of a mile walk to the sand but an extremely steep drop to make it down to the water.. but climbing back up in the sand is a workout! So pack light and make sure everyone in you group is prepared. I don’t recommend for older people or pregnant women( we had both LoL)."
"Awesome spot! Small parking lot so it doesn't get too crowded. Seems popular with surfers but probably not for beginners as there are good size waves and rip currents. A bit of a walk/hike to get to the water but its worth it!"
