"I wasn't sure how many stars to give. Our sales person Gary and project supervisor Orlando both deserve 5 stars. They were responsive, gave complete information and were quick to answer questions. I did have several project coordinators and was continually asked the same questions for things that should have been documented. I also could never get ahold of my project coordinator on the phone and often didn't get answers to questions by email. It was frustrating when I was trying to coordinate with a pool cover company. But Orlando was great and really saved this review. Without him it would be 2 or maybe 3 stars. The work looks good so I am hopeful it will last a long time before going through this again."

"The workers at the Pleasanton location like to take their personal vehicles out and do doughnuts and speed up and down the block where there are restaurants and apartments with children. One used to drive a Chevy Avalanche and wrecked it. He sleeps in their parking lot and gets into drunken fights with his girlfriend at all hours of the night. Their workers come back from jobs and sit around on their tailgates drinking while still wearing their Adam’s Pool gear. The company totally knows their employees are doing this and don’t care at all. They are going to hit an innocent pedestrian one of these days"

"One of the employees sped off in his car today out of the parking lot (wearing a bright neon Adam’s Pool shirt) while we were eating at the sushi restaurant almost hitting several cars and a couple who had a baby in a stroller, and proceeded to do doughnuts in the street like a jacka$$ almost hitting several other cars parked in the street. Evidently the regular customers at the restaurant said this is a normal thing for them. Go ahead and try that one day and watch one of your employees hit someone. Real professional"

"I inherited adam's pool from corby's pool company. Since the beginning of my pool project , I repeatedly told this pool company that i am doing simultaneously doing this project with a guest house and paver construction. They need to notify me and coordinate with the other contractors (and me) on any communication or any task that needs to be completed with each milestone. Long story short, throughout the whole process, the weren't proactive in the communication, and when they did contact me the communication was perfunctory and didn't provide the necessary details. Also every time when I needed to talk to someone, they would assign a new project manager to me. So guess what happened at the end of construction, all sorts of disasters happened. First they forgot to inform the paver company and myself that a new drainage system is needed for the pool overflow which required both trenching and a new drainage pit. Furthermore, more pipes were unexpectedly broken due to unclear communication and hand-offs, there was also unexplained water leaks, Last but not least they forgot to tell me from the beginning that a vent system needs to be installed with the heater they installed in the brand new pool house. I have shown them the drawing numerous times from the beginning and asked them I need to rep prepare any of the needed modifications for the interior/exterior. As each new problem emerged, guess what , they would not take any responsibility and just kept blaming the Paver company, the drainage people , but not acknowledging their role in integrated execution. Furthermore they insisted that i need to pay off the remaining balance even though the vent system is not yet installed after significant delay. The equipment was installed by them and requires the venting to pass code and they were of no help finding a contractor to help install this. Given they were the ones who installed the equipment and this is a well known requirement for safe operation, they should be able to help. Otherwise no one can determine if the equipment is properly installed and operating. They refused to help in any way. So I ended up paying close to another 10k for all the unspecified problems, all of which could have been avoided by clear communication and coordination. The result is the costs were significantly more than quoted and planned. Overall, this pool company has been a nightmare. I've already paid the whole balance and with no hot tub operating, nor venting installed for pool heating. So don't use them!"

"Terrific Pandemic Pool Redo! Adams gets an A+ from us for top of the line professionalism and a beautiful pool remodel!! Adams had a great team of pros that did every step of our pool remodel. They cleaned up after themselves every day and let us know when the next team would be out to do the next stage. A in fter the job was done, there were a several issues (some missing grout, existing solar thermal not working, landscape and deck lighting not turning on, gas pool heater apparently not working) and they happily and speedily returned and made everything right. The deck lighting issue turned out to be due to rodents but they fixed it. We are deeply grateful that we could count on them to make everything right. They are a large company with the resources and bandwidth to do things right, and they still prioritize their customer service roots that helped them become successful! We 100%, unequivocally recommend ADAMS!"
