"Awful experience from start to finish. If you are assigned this company from your home warranty, just take my advice and get is reassigned. 1st response took upon themselves to assign their mitigation department to our leak. After weeks of "equipment checks" and no progress, followed by our own research that we could assign whichever mitigation company we want (we were not given this choice upfront from 1st response) we asked them to pick up their equipment that was sitting ON TOP of tile floor (not even drying the subfloor) and were told that if they did we would be in breech of contract & owe them a fee. We never signed a contract but they insisted we did. We asked to see a copy, and to this day they could never produce our "signed contract". Talk about a scam."

"This was an awful experience and a complete waste of my time and money! I was given an 11 am to 3 pm service window by my warranty company, and 1st Response Plumbing not only showed up AFTER 3 o'clock, but I had to initiate the call that indicated they'd be late (the service technician should've provided some heads-up during the course of his route so that I didn't waste an entire day waiting). Then when he arrived, he took a few pictures, collected my service fee, and told me that my warranty company would set up a different appointment to repair the problem I had already fully detailed. So rather than fixing the problem I waited all day to resolve, I have to wait for another appointment and perhaps another company to solve the problem that 1st Response knew existed before arriving. So while this problematic system is not solely the fault of the plumbing company (the warranty company has its share of blame as well), it is very frustrating to shell out money to fix problems and not get any resolution to them. I don't have money to just throw out the window! When I spend money for a product or service, I expect to get results. And a service call, in and of itself, is not a result. A solved problem is the result! The technician was pleasant, but his kind and professional demeanor were overshadowed by an awful set of policy protocols."

"HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE!!! I received horrible costumer service from Andrea and Sarah. I have not received a call back for over 3 weeks from these ladies who are supposedly handling my project. I was asked to move forward with opening a claim from my home insurance for damages caused to my house from a leaky pipe. I went ahead and received payment from my insurance but since then (which was over 3 weeks ago) I have not received any communication from Andrea or Sarah. They sent random men to my home without asking to do work on my home. They have ignored me and I still have no clue what the next steps in my project are. My home has been sitting with holes in the drywall, tape on the floor and I believe some equipment under my house? Like I said I’m unsure because I’m being ignored. Today I fired this company for lack of communication and poor costumer service. I will say the laborers were very nice but because of Andrea and Sarah…I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone!! Additionally! They told us that their moisture readings indicated there was no mold. Today we started demo-ing and lots of mold was found in my walls and flooring."
