"ge uses this company for warranty repair. if they are offered, dont use them. they were sent out to service my one week old ge dishwasher, which smoked the first time it was run and claimed that it was user error. but the problem was with a defective heating element. they didnt file a report with ge after the service call. they told me that i could talk ge into getting it serviced under the warranty, but ge said that there was no way they could if the service provider said it was user error. they simply take money from ge to make the service calls and have no interest in doing the repair. scam company. ge should be ashamed of themselves for using them"
"I don’t know if this company is even real but they were sent by GE to repair my washer and dryer. Left a voice my the apparent “owner” who sounded intoxicated. They gave me a time window of 12-5pm. Never showed up, called, and told me they were there at 10am knocked and called. They lied, we cameras and I received now phone call. Either this company is fake and GE is contracting them as a service repair company or these people are scammers. DO NOT USE THEM!"
"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY LIE TO YOU AND DON'T SHOW FOR SERVICE! Had a scheduled repair that GE set up through their warranty program....had to wait a few days for an appointment.. A Service on Site employee texted the same day I set up service and said "I'm the technician and in the area, can swing by today" (great but I was at work and could not answer his text) after work I texted him back and advised him we would see him on the scheduled service date because we made arrangements to be home on that day...The day of scheduled service, Service on Site did not show up, call or text. Waited 5 hours. Called and left a couple of messages with no response from them. Texted the service guy and he said he was "off today" and "someone else will be out". ..NO SHOW...Called the the next day (giving them the benefit of the doubt...maybe because of covid and/or short staff) and they said "Oh ya, we are getting to it today, what is your name?" gave them my name and the guy said "we went to your house this morning and you were not home" (this was at 10:45 a.m. I called) LIE!! WE WERE HOME... I advised him "that was false and we were home", he then proceeded to tell me "we have photos to prove we were there" I said "so do I, I have cameras to prove you were not here"....he said "you need to call GE and reschedule your service".... I called GE and advised them of the no show and lie and said I will not use them and they need to send a different company. Shame on you GE for using a company like this to represent your work. GE is now sending someone from GE Factory Service...hopefully they show. PLEASE AVOID A COMPANY THAT LIES AND DOES NOT SHOW UP.. NOT GOOD BUSINESS!"
"Completely unreliable and over charges, I felt taken advantage of! While the technician was sent to my house quickly for diagnosing the issue, I had to pay a full service fee of $125 for just diagnosing the problem (which was apparently a discount from $175). Nothing fixed! I had to order a part and the technician confirmed he would return the following Monday afternoon (after the part would arrive). When I called around noon Monday just to confirm he would return, he said sorry he had too many other calls and his schedule changed since we last spoke. So I guess once they have your money, there's no respect for an appointment already scheduled or need to come back. If they have more jobs in a different area, you will have to keep waiting. This was pressing for me because I was already out of a washer for over a week. He said he would return tomorrow (Tuesday) because he had no other jobs and I was the only one to work on next day. So I asked him to come in the afternoon and confirm the time which he never responded. Come Tuesday, I called late morning to ask if he would be coming and now apparently he has other work and a long meeting middle of the day so said he would not come until 4-5pm. So scared I would lose yet another day I had to find another company to repair my washer which they did honestly and quickly being very responsive. This type of business gives contractor a bad rap!"
"Whatever you do, DO NOT use this company. I had an appointment scheduled and had to be available between 12 and 5. I rearranged my work to be home and sometime during that time frame the manager/owner called to tell me that the technician couldn’t make it cause he was on another job in... (I can’t remember the city). He then asked me if I knew how far away that was from my city and I told him that I didn’t know. He then said that it’s two hours away! So I had to reschedule and rearrange work, again! When the technician did come he said that it is hard to fix the hood on my oven ( they are, both, only 5 years old! And are Dacor) and they have just cut the customer a check, before, instead. Before the technician left my house he told me that he would let the manager/owner know of his findings... that was on 9/18. I heard nothing, so around the first week of October I called and left a message. No one got back to me. I called again, on 9/12 and the owner/manager told me that he called and spoke to my husband a couple of weeks ago and that he told my husband that the hood could not be repaired so he was cutting us a check! I had him hold on while I called my husband. He never spoke to my husband and I told him that! I called the protection plan company that we have and they said that it’s not the service company’s job to say whether or not it can be fixed, nor do they cut checks. Again, find any other repair company."
