"Had the refrigerator repaired under sealed system warranty (10 year) The repair did not even last a week. Just went grocery shopping for Thanksgiving and then again, we lost all of our food for the second time! This sucks The sad thing is an American made $3500 refrigerator did not even last five years KitchenAid. Don’t buy kitchenAid Technician ordered everything from the compressor and evaporator. He only replace Compressor. $900 Labor"

"So far so good. They have been working hard trying to fix our garbage whirlpool clothes washer. They seem to actually want to fix the problem as opposed to whirlpool who don't seem to mind that it's always broken and under warranty."

"My brand-new refrigerator is under warranty and KitchenAid referred me to 1-800 Appliance for repair. The freezer section works just fine but the refrigerator section is not cooling enough. This issue started in April 2023. Technicians have visited at least a dozen times to attempt to fix the issue without any success. To be honest, the refrigerator section finally stopped cooling after the technician's last visit which is what led to this review. When I called to report that my refrigerator section had completely stopped working after the technician's last visit, I was told the technician is the only experienced tech to work on this issue and he is currently on vacation so I'd have to wait for almost two weeks when he returns from vacation. Customer service is a foreign concept to this company. they are simply incompetent."

"Location: San Diego, CA Service Date: June 16, 2023 My experience with 1800-Appliance has been nothing short of a disaster. If I could give them zero stars I would. I scheduled a service call to fix my Kenmore Washer Dryer unit on June 16, but it's been a never-ending nightmare since then. The technician, Vitaly, came on June 22 and diagnosed the issues, promising to order the parts in 3 to 5 days. I paid upfront, but they never bothered to provide a written estimate as required by law. Getting updates from them has been like pulling teeth. They cashed my check on July 3 and sent an updated invoice with a different work description. It seemed like they couldn't keep their story straight. To make matters worse, they kept rescheduling the repair without any consideration for my time. Technicians Nathan and Vitaly showed up late on July 28, spent hours disassembling my appliance, and left it damaged without completing the repair. They promised to come back, but communication and follow through were nonexistent. On August 2, they canceled again, this time blaming a broken-down van. It's been more than 40 days since I first contacted them, and they've had my payment for over 30 days! This is a warning to all potential customers: stay away from 1800-Appliance. They don't care about their customers, and their service is beyond terrible. I demanded a refund for this shoddy treatment. Overall Rating: Terrible. Service Quality: Horrendous. Customer Support: Nonexistent. Timeliness: A Complete Joke. Refund Policy: Still Waiting for a Refund. Save yourself the trouble and find a reputable repair service. 1800-Appliance is not worth your time or money."
