"This is a very nice beach and is worth visiting. There are many animals here, including the snowy plovers and seals. There’s also many nice views of the coastal bluffs. I also recommend going across the river to the marsh nearby, where I’ve seen many birds including a bald eagle."

"Nice beach, went there bcos heard about whale sightings, migration I guess, and was lucky to see a loner at a distance, had surfaced about 3-4 times, but was close to the shores. Had a good time at teg Beach otherwise. A nice weekend day trip place."

"So much fun during low tide. At low tide, you can access and climb up the rock and enjoy the waves and observe the sea creatures at tidepool. This is a big field with lots of rocks to explore. Sometimes, could observe sea lions."

"Places such as these should not have a rating system. They are a standard of their own, and honestly, if we leave these places as is, they would be more beautiful than they already are. One of my most cherished drives from Santa Cruz to Half Moon. And this one was a lovely stop. it has everything one can expect from nature... The Ocean, a walk down from an elevated spot, giving a full view of the beach, the fairly longish walk on sand, after walking down from the 40-50ft high "mound" from the parking off the highway, covering a small green "grass and wild flower" patch, the roar of the sea, a window cut by the waves on the rock(s) on the coast.
