"I went in today ( 3-11-24) after being a return customer, thinking this is the place to go after getting superb service previously with other devices . I have had an intermediate issue with my iPad Pro 11 not charging . Getting an error stating that accessories aren’t approved ( or something of that nature ) But green charging icon would not come on at all. I had already exchanged my iPad at Apple for a like model ( for other issues ) after calling them to troubleshoot this issue now they want 569.00 to do it again (exchange) screw that noise . After going in to Drop Smash, as it seems to always happen when you take something in for repair , it charges at the desk.. battery showes it was good on tester. the gentleman a young Hispanic kid ( I’m 68 , but by no means stupid when it comes to electronics) so everyone is a youngster to me lol. To top it off I’m a cancer survivor and because of that I have a severe speech impediment , so I’m a bit difficult to understand . He seemed knowledgeable and suggested that I purchase a different charging cable and or charging block. Since it worked at desk. Cool I’m down with that . Even though all my chargers/blocks are from Apple themselves . They “could” be bad . I get home , irated to say the least, plug in to my existing cable set-up and it works . Damn ! So thinking even though it tested fine, maybe it is in fact battery and call him back . This is within 30 minutes of my visit . Ask him what he thought , mind you I was there for 45 minutes trouble shooting this over the counter. I ask him, do you think it could be battery and if so can I order one , I’ll give you my credit card info and you call me when it’s in. I don’t want to drive all the way back to Ventura from PH just to have you look at information you already have on your computer . And “if” you need , I’ll read off model number, serial number , send you a picture . Whatever . I’ll give you my payment info, you can run it to make sure it’s good . I’m NOT asking for reimbursement for cable I just bought. Just to order a battery . I get the biggest run around , well I need to see it. Why I ask, you just had it in your hands for over 30-45 minutes . Lets order battery I by all means will NOT hold DS responsible if this doesn’t solve the issue. After back and forth this kid hangs up on me after me asking to speak to manager . Kids , absolutely no respect and if I was 30 years younger . Well that may have not been in his best interest to speak to me like he did and then hang up. I’m older now, and wiser , and have learned to select my battles carefully . I know this it going to get reviewed . And I do like the work ( I’d swear by it ) from the owner . But his help has tons to be desired I’m in your computer Thomas Two-Coats Call me if you value repeat customers . I text better than speak because of reasons stated above . But if you’re patient I’m understandable . My wife says after getting the response I got over the phone ( he hung up on me ! ) why would I trust someone to work on my electronics ? I’m thinking the owner can’t be everywhere at once and I’d give them another shot. I don’t want anyone but the owner working on it, I know he’s honest, and knows what he’s doing. This is a small business and I believe in patronizing your neighborhood business’s in lieu of big companies . I’m giving (1) a one star review now because of my recent visit, but they so deserve a “4” or a “5”It just goes to show you that employees don’t care how they represent you as long as they get their weekly hours on the time card ."
"Had to give them 2 stars it makes me sad to even write this review considering the fact that they fixed my phone when I receive my phone back 2 days late from the day that they told me to pick it up at I noticed that now have a phone that has no audio I cannot listen to music no notification alerts, videos or have my phone on speaker and that was not a problem before the only problem that I had before was the cracked screen I would go back and address this and have them fix it but I don't want to be without a phone again for another 3 days so I'm going to have to deal with it. I paid $140 to fix one issue and have another. Do ur research people."

"Wow! I am so grateful to be living walking distance from these guys. I bring my iPhone in to have it looked at and Dylan is there to help. He was super personable and very knowledgeable. He even was sharing with me tips about how to work with my current condition of my phone as is! He was able to evaluate what was going on and definitely provided an incredible customer experience there at the shop. If you are his manager, please give him a pay raise.
