"Received multiple scam calls from here. Beware."

"Dear BBB,I check my credit at least twice a month to make sure everything is up to date. I received a notification from my credit on November 25,2022. The notification was stating that I had opened in account, by the original creditor 12 ******** on September 29, 2022 and Lewis McDonnell & Associates had my account because I was sent to collections owing them $5061.00 I dont even know who these companys are. I never received mail, emails, nor calls. I did not receive any form of communication informing that I owed this balance, until it was on report. I DEMAND this completely removed from my account because I did not open this account and have no knowledge of it. I dont have any account numbers nor documents to upload because I didnt open this account. ALL REPORTED DATA MUST BE COMPLETE, CORRECT, AND PROVEN IF CHALLENGED. I DO NOT ***** YOUR AUTHORITY TO REPORT VERSUS ME WITHOUT ADEQUATE COMPLIANCE OF STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS BEING APPLICABLE THROUGHOUT. AS SUCH I DEMAND DELETION IMMEDIATELY OF YOUR DECLARED CLAIMS AGAINST ME. PER COMMON LAW, YOU ARE DEMANDED TO DEMONSTRATE THAT YOU CAN AND HAVE WILLINGNESS TO ABSOLUTELY VERIFY AND VALIDATE (OR JUST SAY "CERTIFICATE") EVERY AND ONE EVEN EACH ANY AND OR ALL ALLEGATIONS YET PHYSICALLY DEFICIENT OR UNPROVEN MINE, CHALLENGED OR NOT. "The company contacted my father numerous times. He did not receive mail in regards the "debt". I requested for them to provide me something in writing to email or mail but then ended the call. A scam!!"

"This company has been harassing my husband about a debt that was stated to be cleared by the original lender. Even if it wasn't cleared, it was also past the statute of limitations. We asked for documentation on how much was owed and the interest and fees associated with the account (because it was 4 times more than what they stated the original amount was). We never received any mail from them, even though they said they send debt validation to our house multiple times and they have our address. Any time we call to get information, we're sent to voicemail and have only received callbacks a couple of times, and they are completely unwilling to give information when we ask questions. Everything about the way they're conducting business feels like a scam. They won't contact us in writing, so there is no proof of anything that was stated by the company. I don't believe they're actually sending mail, because according to them, they've sent it to our house 3 times and we haven't received anything. When we finally got an email from them, it was only a contract to claim the debt. They never sent us anything that we asked for."

"This business called me, lied to me about a debt that was 3 years past the Statute of Limitations, and then proceeded to break the law by attempting to collect on that debt. Moreover, they broke Federal Law when they failed to post the Time-Barred debt on the collection letter they sent me. If you are harassed by this company, please report them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as they clearly are not following the law."
