"Camped here in early Sept. on the way back from Oregon to sac.. I was happy with the campground, and I see there's good and bad reviews. Just realize this is not a "destination campground" that you bring your family for a multi day vacation. But.... It is perfect for a necessary stop along your road trip, or a cheap place to crash while working in the area. $10 site vs. $100+ motel... Solid spot"
"Omg had to go after waiting in all that road construction. They have a lot of trees here. Thank you mother nature. Oh and I would camp here too."
"Easy access, which equals right on the road so kinda noisy at night. Most sites are small, but pretty. The biggest issue was there is poison oak everywhere! If you step one foot out of the immediate camp site it is like a carpet. If you have young kids or are really allergic it would not be good. The "easy trail" to the creek is straight down the side of a hill. Not a easy access. Creek was pretty though. Nice for overnight quick stay, I wouldn't want to stay any longer."
"its a 10$ camp ground , what can ya say .. has shade which is nice , close to willow creek for supplies, pizza , beers , gas, ice ,all those essentials .. river is near , not super easy to access... trail that can be used for enjoyment , the 20 or less sites are close together but enough greenery gives privacy , noise by the road but what do expect ..day use parking as well , vault toilets , trash recycling no water currently , but seems they are working on it .. all in all a decent stop over , after a long day of enjoying the beautiful trinity river your beat u get a few beers in ya some good food who cares bout what its missing lol"
