"It was a few days after the earthquake before I looked up on my chimney to discover it had collapsed all over my roof. By that time all the contractors were booked. Many phone calls later Dawson Brick and Block said they could do it within the week. Which they did promptly. Cleaned up and hauled off debris. Wow! Am I happy!"

"The day after our 6.8 earthquake it was obvious I’d need a lot of professional help, Solar panel repairs, major demolition, brick & chimney repairs and construction builders…where to start. Then I say the Dawson Brick and Block truck drive by and snapped a pic of the side of his truck. I called, expecting to be at the end of a long line of people in the same position. He said let me take a look first and was there the next morning. He inspected the chimney and said it could be repaired and said he’d fit it in between other jobs. He as very pleasant and right to the point, very professional. He was done in 3 days, provided me with many photos from on the roof, so that I didn’t have to climb up there. His repairs and detail work were spot on, the chimney looked better that had before the earthquake. I got his invoice by email and paid it. Later, after some debris removal, I noticed a severely cracked brick retaining wall and broken steps. I called Dawson again, really expecting him to be months out like all the other contractors, but again, he said it was only a 2-3 day job and he’d fit it in between his other longer jobs. Within a week he started and finished in 3 days. I am not going to let the vegetation grow up and hide the retaining wall, as it is now very attractive. Tim Dawson is a very soft-spoken, pleasant man, who gives you realistic time frames and very reasonable pricing. The quality of his work is stellar, so I have no problem giving him my full recommendation."
