"I've done several workshops at Swirlworks, and they have all been top-notch. The setting is gorgeous, serene, and a perfect place to tap your artistic potential. It's there even if you don't realize it. The workshop artists are pros - patient, and they don't let you lose sight of the fact that the art is about engaging in the process, without angst about the outcome. I need that. So far I've explored things that I've always been curious about - flower arranging and oil painting. I showed up, got to try something totally new to me, and got lost in the process. Swirlworks' artistes were great. They were patient, and gave everyone personal attention, making us all feel good about our time there, and the end-products we left with. I was also psyched to try totally new activities in letter press, and watercolor painting. I now have my personally created cards. I loved it, even as I got a new appreciation for printing of old. Same for painting with watercolors. Swirlworks makes it super easy to try new activities. It's a welcome break in my day, or a fun activity with friends. Highly recommend!"
