Reviews of Premier Pools & Spas | Sacramento
"5 Star Experience I have to start off by saying that I read reviews for companies. I may do business with all the time. When you read reviews, you have to remember that people rarely leave good reviews. When we met with Jeff, I started out by letting him know that I was weary of the reviews, but that I noticed all pool companies seem to have the same type of reviews. I was definitely put at ease with Jeff and just had a good feeling about him. They weren’t the cheapest option, but my husband and I knew that they would be the best. You get what you pay for. And that’s exactly what we got. From the very start we had amazing communication from Jeff and Teo. We were given a heads up every time something new was happening, and if it wasn’t enough notice for us, we just let them know, and they accommodated our schedule. We had anticipated this would take months and months and months, but boy were we wrong. Their whole team works so fast and efficiently and their craftsmanship was awesome. Jeff and Teo were with us through the whole experience, checking in on us and the project all the time. It really made us feel important as a client. I would absolutely 100% recommend calling Jeff Osterback at Premier pools. He was such a pleasure to work with and make sure he gets Teo on his team too! You won’t regret it! We are over the moon excited about our new pool and are looking forward to making new memories in our new backyard this summer!"
"Premier Pools aced my backyard revamp! The crew was top-notch from the get-go – super skilled, kept me updated, and really understood my vision. Definitely recommend them!"
"After meeting with a few other companies, my husband and I chose Premier largely because of how Jeff made us feel. Jeff didn’t rush us into deciding, made sure our questions were answered, and made us feel good about choosing Premier. Little did we know what an excellent decision this would be, as we would soon be introduced to Jeff’s partner-in-crime, Eddie. Eddie and Jeff are an incredible duo that worked diligently to ensure our project would be completed before Christmas so my family could enjoy a holiday polar plunge, without sacrificing quality. Additionally, these two endured endless questions from me (my husband continuously told me to stop pestering “the pool guys”), which they thankfully didn’t seem to mind. I can’t wait to spend the summer in this pool and I honestly can’t recommend Jeff, Eddie, and the entire Premier Pool team enough. Thanks guys!"
"Building a pool is a big commitment for both homeowner and contractor. For homeowners, such a project obviously is quite costly and comes with noise and disruption for many weeks and possibly months. On the contractor side, there is a great deal of planning, engineering and complying with the building code. We spent months vetting various pool builders. Jim Majewski of Premier Pools and Spas has many years of experience and so was able to expertly guide us through the planning and design stages. There are many options and upgrades available nowadays, and it was wonderful to have someone who was able to discuss these with confidence. Once the start date arrives, the project is managed by a construction superintendent, and ours was Steve Fury. We appreciated Steve from the beginning as his focus is to produce results that not only are visually attractive but also function optimally over the long term. What we came to realize is that there is a great deal of engineering involved in building pools with regard to water flow and chemistry, geology of the surrounding area and electricity. Steve has a long track record of experience which was very valuable to us. One of the most important things we appreciated about Premier Pools is that Jim Majewski was involved in our project the entire time and communicated frequently with both Steve Fury and myself. Other companies typically have salespeople who deal with customers initially, but then vanish as soon as the contract is signed at which time the construction team takes over. This can easily lead to miscommunications and frustrations for everyone. Fortunately, Premier Pools has the salesperson involved and available the entire time from start to finish. Moreover, the vast majority of the dozens of workers required for our project were employees of Premier and not just subcontractors. These teams are organized into highly efficient and specialized teams supervised by a very experienced leader. My wife and I have often remarked that our pool and spa are much more beautiful than we had even dared to hope (see photo)! It’s difficult to look at outdoor construction plans on paper and try to envision the desired result in three dimensions. There are issues such as slopes of the surrounding areas along with existing concrete which you don’t have with an interior project such as a kitchen remodel. Again, this is where Jim and Steve’s depth and breadth of knowledge gained over many years were essential for us. They guided and explained issues to us in a way that was easy to understand and appreciate. There is a good reason why Premier Pools & Spas has such a huge market share among the various pool builders in our community; I would enthusiastically recommend this company to anyone considering a pool or spa in their backyard."
"I went through Premier Pools and it was a nightmare, would never recommend them. Recommend subcontracting it out yourself and save 20k (lots of forums on it and pool builders do the same thing). Premier Pools quote wasn't cheap either at 159k, pool took 8 months to build (told 9 weeks), 6 weeks of them doing absolutely nothing, and half the time the crews were supposed to show up, they didn't. Sales staff basically ghosted me most of the time, and were all out of town the last two weeks of the pool being finished (Jeramiah, Reuben, Elder). People who spoke English were never on site when work was getting done, multiple contract mistakes with errors on them causing a bunch of revision delays (fix one thing but create some random new issue elsewhere like taking out a corner of concrete for no reason, no attention to detail), they put our umbrella holes in the wrong spot in the Cabo shelf, brought 6x6 tile when we ordered 1x2" tile, spilled acid on the concrete leaving a giant white spot, blue plaster spill on concrete leaving a nice blue spot, cleaned tools in my landscaping and never cleaned it up, put together the filter equipment going the wrong way causing the filters to burst, supposed to have 6 jets in the spa but they did 8 until I pointed it out, concrete color was off, Styrofoam embedded into the concrete from their molds, took over 6 weeks to get the ledge lounger chairs which they could never give me an ETA on, ordered ledger stone 4 months in advance and when it came to install them - told it was back ordered as they never ordered it, schedule wasn't updated for the final 4 months of the build, told fence would be down for four days but it was down for months, wasn't given the final bill until 12 hours before it was due, brown plaster stains in two spots in the pool, and broke the manta ray mosaics. Pointed out these issues over three weeks ago and they have fixed nothing."
