"We've never had a backyard pool -- we previously lived in HOAs with lots of pools. So, taking this project on was overwhelming and we needed an expert team. Rich, Kelly, Victor and Bryce were a great, experienced team -- designing our beautiful pool and landscaping at our new forever home. They were problem solvers too. When unforeseen things came up, they had solutions. We highly recommend Pacific Paradise Pools."
"We worked with Pacific Paradise Pools on a full backyard renovation. We had a general idea of what we wanted, but worked very closely with their designer Bryce to work out all of the exact details. Bryce was an amazing partner to work with as we designed our space. He helped us choose all the hard scape materials, ensured that the design was cohesive, and helped recommend which plants to use in our landscaping. Lee was the project manager over seeing the work, and they were always very punctual, thorough, detailed, and overall did an amazing job. They showed up every day, worked really hard and didn't stop until the project was done. We even had a few custom requests, and they were able to accommodate us. We are very very happy with the end result, and would definitely recommend this company for any yard renovations or hardscaping."
"Our front yard remodel got off to a rough start with time delays and construction errors made by a sub-contractor. We met with Kelly and walked through the problems. She accepted responsibility and removed the struggling sub-contractor. Jose and Raymundo managed their in-house construction crew. They fixed all of the problems, paid close attention to all the details and communicated effectively. Bryce was a tremendous asset to us. His guidance on materials and plants brought the project to a level beyond our expectations! We are happy to recommend them."
"Kelly and Victor are the main event at Pacific Paradise. Always helpful and responsive. We built our spa in 2019 and use it multiple times a day (especially during covid). Kelly always responds when I have any questions or maintenance issues. Just met Victor a few weeks ago but he took the time to solve a minor issue and made sure everything was working properly. We love our spa and have no regret using Pacific Paradise as the builder."
"I am looking to build a pool for my business in my parents backyard. I have gone through the city for all official permits and licensing. I called this company after seeing their sign in a front yard in my parents neighborhood. When I got a call back, I believe it was Rich I spoke to, was extremely unprofessional and rude. He first told me that there’s a bunch of licensing and whatnot I need to get from the city so I’m not shut down. Seeing as I’ve had my business open for a year, I am aware of what I need, especially since I’ve already spoken to the city for moving my business to a home property from a commercial. He then began talking about how he’s been in business for so long, he’s amazing at what he does, and was not so humbly bragging about himself and his work. I told him my mom (the homeowner) was getting a few bids from a few companies just to compare and see who can provide what we were looking for, for the best price when it came to materials and customer service. We’re willing to pay more for a company that respects what we want and is happy to work with us. He then told me that he wasn’t going to wait in line behind other contractors and it would be a waste of his time. I told him, in respect for my parents and myself , I didn’t think we would be a good fit and hung up. As someone who owns a business I can’t imagine telling someone they would be a waste of my time, even if I thought my goals and theirs were on opposite ends. We met with companies who have won awards for their pools and work who were far more humble and accommodating and willing to work with us, knowing we were getting multiple bids. My best advice for Rich is be a little more humble and allow your potential customers to look at other companies. If your work is so great, you would stand out and they would pick you, right? **Update in response to business owners response: he literally told me that it would be a waste of his time, with us getting other bids (my husband was sitting right next to me and can attest to this. I wouldn't put something so critical in a review if it had never happened**"
